female species to play? I'm talking, even like 300 years down the road. Do you think a girl would ever be good enough and get let into the sport?

You're asking for some major flaming from the female community for asking this one.

I think so. When men realize that women are our equals and not just cute play things, then the world will evolve beyond our current limitations.

The Tampa Bay Lightning had a female goalie a few years back. She wasn't very good, so she didn't last long. I think that any sport would be willing to have a female on the team if she helped the team win.

Hockey did have a female goalie play for the Tampa Bay Lightning. I think her name was Manon Rheaume or something like that.

I don't know about hockey, but during WWII there where female major league baseball teams. they are in the hall of fame. And there are pro women's football and basketball leagues. They aren't huge, but they are growing.

youve never seen the wnhl.... most nhl players wouldnt be man enough to play with those savage women but i doubt it as long as there are women's leagues and male ownership and commissioners... sad i think miss holdsclaw would school kobe and lebron

They already do! Unfortunately in leagues of their own. I hope that one day we will see integrated sports like soccer and baseball.
