Dressing up the boy as a princess won't make him gay, or a serial killer, or depressed as he gets older. He would be embarrassed via it yet who would not have any embarrassment from their young infants? If this became any incorrect way around and a woman wished to gown up in as a prince no person would say something. Is dressing up as a princess his thought or yours? It sounds like it quite is yours. My suggestion would in simple terms ask him what he needs or take him down the dress isle and allow him %. a "boy" dress.

My favorite "thing" costume was my ex husband last year. He dressed as a box of wine! He painted the cardboard to match what box of wine looks like and then attached the wine bladder to the inside with the spigot poking through. The parents trick or treating with their kids could stop and have a glass of wine as the night went along!

Walk around with a toy airplane in your hand. When someone asks what you are, hold out your hand with the toy and say you are and aircraft carrier.
