Depends on who's knockin! If it is somebody special, its always open. If its somebody that I only know a lilbit about, they gotta find the key to come. Or! If they can get through the front door pretty easily, they can slide right out to get in the back door. Those locks are kinda funny.

I look out to see if I recognize the vehicle in the driveway then open it if it is someone I want to talk to. If not, I often don't answer because I don't want to talk to strangers. I didn't invite them over and I am not obligated to speak with them, especially if they are wearing a uniform or carrying a briefcase or literature!

People usually just walk through my front door its pretty much always open!

It depends. If I'm expecting someone I yell "come in". If I don't know who it is I open it.

Door is always locked ,if I want to see them I let them in otherwise I just don't answer.

Mine will open for HER anytime SHE just needs to come on in sit awhile cuddle and hug me and whisper sweet nothings into my ear while she is nibbling on some of my cheese ..
