I think if the Pats and Tom Brady keep running up the score and keeping Brady in the game late with a 20+point lead somebody is gonna take a cheap shot at him. I am not a fan of them but dont hate on them either just giving my opinon. Teams see what is going on and teams that having nothing to play for (dolphins, jets) just may play dirty to get back at their a*s whooping! I hope it doesnt happen but if they continue to go record hunting it will happen!

Then again to take that cheap shot they will have to get to him which has been a problem for teams all year.

Thats what I have been saying all along. Belicheat better watch it, they do have to play the Steelers. We all know what they will do to a QB to win, ask Carson Palmer. He hasnt been the same since.
It doesnt have to happen during the play, it can happen after. Kinda like Vince Wolfork did Losman a few weeks ago.

If anyone was to take a cheap shot at the Tom, that player would be injured himself if he stayed in the game, the other Pats players would see to it. Its also likely the opposing team's qb would also get hurt. There would be an NFL investigation, and the guilty coaches would likely be banned for life. If they can hurt the Tom cleanly, of course they will. Its the only chance any team has to beat the Pats. That speaks volumes about Tom Brady's courage. He's the greatest qb of all time.

First of all, I'm no fan of the Pats or Brady. That said, do you really think the Pats are record hunting? If your laughable defense can't contain that talented receiving corps. and they expose open passing lanes that lead to TDs, where does it say one shouldn't take advantage? Certainly, Belichick could call more run plays but the backfield is injury ridden. What if you end up losing Faulk too? (hey, it happened to their back-up, what if happens to their back-up to the back-up?) The fact of the matter is, the whiners happen to be the Jets and the Dolphins which have a joke of a secondary. They're whining because when your team is ridiculously bad, you're looking to blame anything and anyone else.

i remember several comebacks in the 4th quarter such as the Giants at Eagles a few years ago where the Giants trailed by 24 points entering the 4th Quarter and cameback to win. so when i see a team winning by 21 points and they continue to pass, i think nothing of it. if it's a 28-35 point lead like at half time, then yes, they pull their qb just the way the Pats did. once miami came back and got momentum, brady went back on the field. so, don't keep saying the Pats are running up the board because they don't want to blow such a tremendous lead.
yes, some teams may feel sore at them. i can see Miami taking some cheap shots at them later on in the season.

They are not only risking Brady, they also keep throwing to Moss with 1 minute left just to keep him happy when all they need is take a kneel.
I also hope it does not happen. Especially because Moss hamstrings have been a concern in the last seasons.
