I have 4 yellow mums in their pot. The blooms all turned brown already! I think the problem was that Ithe spot that I had them in didn't really get sun, so they are now moved to a sunnier spot. Is it too late for them this season? :(

Depend s on where you live. Frost is fast approaching most areas of zone 7 and above. After frost, no. If you are below zone 7, cut off the dead flowers, and plant the plant in the flower bed, if on the south side of the house in sun, it might rebloom. But will survive and bloom next year anyway--they are perennial plants, shape to toss them out.

I'm in Florida and we are just starting to receive our mum crops and with the warm weather we've all been having, I'm noticing their blooms aren't lasting as long as usual.
It is normal for the blooms to die off though, I'd recommend keeping them if you can in a spot that gets some sun, just not too much...say for at least 4-5 hrs a day. You can deadhead the spent blooms and fertilize with a high blooming number(the second number on the bag/box--like 8-59-8---or just plain ol' miracle grow)
They should be blooming again for you.
We've had a weird year :)

Yes, they bloom one time a year. Put them in the ground now. Let them go totally dormant. After the first frost or cold spell, trim them to about 5-6 inches above ground level. Cover them with a mulch of some kind. They will come up next year. Trim them to a round size till July 4th and then leave them alone. They will be beautiful. They do need to be in at least part sun to do well outside.

I live in the south west and my mums only bloom once a year.

Depending on where you live, I'd just deadhead them and see. With the lingering warm weather we are having here on the East Coast, I wouldn't be surprised if they bloom again.
