J.P Losman got removed of the starting job when he got hurt, and Trent Edwards has helped the team out ever since. Does that mean Edwards is better. So far this season Losman is (0-3) as a starter, losing the first 3 games, and Edwards is (2-1) as a starter, losing that MNF Dallas game.

Trent Edwards is not better than J.P. Losman, but he has much more potential. As of now, if you watch his games, he checks down about 40% of the time. He's very careful with the ball, but will probably get more comfortable with taking risks as the weeks go by. However, Losman has had that opportunity to prove himself, and has consistantly disappointed. So, no, Trent Edwards is not better, but just has more upside for the franchise. Some analysts said he was the 3rd QB in the draft after JaMarcus Russell and Brady Quinn.

Im a Bills fan I can say with authority they are both pretty lousy! However you can analyze stats all day and the bottom line is the "W" which Edwards has supplied so far. He does need to work on his decision making but his upside is better than JP's. I think we've seen what hes got and it won't get much better. Although I wouldn't say JP is as bad as Rob Johnson (noone is that bad) I think Trent Edwards is the right decision for the remainder of this year at least.

At the moment the Bills are better off with Trent Edwards then they are with J.P. Losman although long term they still need a QB.

Losman was best described by Jason Cole (then of the Miami Herald, now Yahoo Sports) as a punk. He's got an attitude the size of Lake Erie and a track record that shows it's a problem.

Edwards is supposed to be a good kid who listens and who was just shackled to a horrendous team in college, which reduced his stock.

Losman has routinely been given chances to show that he can lead a team but all empiracal evidence points to him failing when asked to carry the team. At this point in time, I'd take Edwards.

Edwards should remain the starter, though the unwritten rule is a player does not lose the starting position due to injury. He seems to add a spark to what had been an equally dormant and unimaginative Bills offense.

JP Losman is terrible. When I watch him play I feel like the old Rob Johnson days. I hope Losman never takes a snap again in a Buffalo uniform. Actually I wouldn't wish him on anyone's team

To tell you the truth his stats dont look much better the J.P's
JP pct 69
Edwards 71

JP int 1
Edwards 4

JP yards 255
Edwards yards 660
He got him there

I think Buffalo just needed a change and either one of them will be about the same

Trent threw 2 costly int's the one vs Dallas the game bck to bite them and the one vs Balt that they scored on to come within 5. He needs to have better decision making and stop thowing pics

I'm 51 years old, and I think I'M better than Losman...as an long time Steeler fan, Cliff Stoudt had to be the worst starting QB I've ever seen....Losman is right there with him.
