Rottweiler - Buddy - my best friend. 1995 - 2007 May he rest in peace. Henley is soooo right too. My dog was the best of freinds as well as a very good protector. He actually thought he was a lap dog.

Rottweiler, if brought up correctly with enough discipline, they can be the sweetest, most protective dogs I've come across. But also any type of lab, I'm more partial to yellows though.

Of the breeds I've owned, including mutts, I think the Collie is the best. They are very gentle, learn very quickly and are very loyal dogs.

I know that everyone (literally, EVERYONE) says this, but labs. They are, hands down, the world's sweetest dogs, aside from mutts. I have never met a lab I didn't just want to take home with me!

i love all dogs but my favorite is probably labs because they are very friendly and loyal and good with kids. plus, they seem to mix well with about any breed.
