She didn't say anything right away, but once they flushed, she told her mom the toilet is plugged. What can I do to unplug it? I'm at work and I can't do anything until I get home.

What probably happened is the water flow didn't have enough power to completely move the watch through the trap. Toilet paper snagged on the watch and is now blocking the water flow.
The only remedy is to pull the toilet up and remove the clog. Not a big deal but you'll need a plumber unless you know someone who's handy.
For now just leave the toilet alone, the last thing you want to have happen is for the watch to get into your sewage pipes.

Actually an easy if dirty job. There's a U shaped trap under the toilet with a screw at the bottom. Put a bucket under the screw, unscrew it, and all will drop out. Now dig through the gunk and retrieve the watch. The rest can be flushed once you return the screw.

If you are going to take up the toilet to get it out, be sure to pick up a new wax ring, on the way home, you will need it when you replace the toilet.

take the whole tolet off of were its from and then well stick u'r hang down the whole and see if its in there if its not it's ether
