I measured from the bottom and I had 8.5 inches which I knew meant Im way above avg but then I measured right from my pubis and it was 7 in. Either ways Im a "big man" but I wanna know my exact. I don't care.

Generally, one measures along the top, from the point where it meets the abdomen (pubopenile junction) to the tip. This is how it is done in research studies. There are some variations for one person even when erect too, which can depend on just how excited you are and if you are feeling very confident in your life.

Why would you want to measure it? Can't you look down and see its size? Do you measure all your other body parts, too? Sorry, but this strikes me as being a very silly thing to do. You've got what you've got, and you might as well enjoy it. Are you going to just work this information into conversation casually? TMI! What use is the exact measurement to you, so why would you care?
