Good question I'm a tea drinker too, do you think we are being discriminated against, I mean whats wrong with drinking tea there's no harm in it, I don't like coffee and I won't be made to drink it just because of a table. Sorry must go now am going to write a letter to my MP.

Coffee table are initially made for coffee drinkers. That's why the name is coffee table. Later use for all purpose.

well, it all goes back to the Koffean Invasion of 10000 BC...
You see the Koffeans, a semi-sentient vegetoid race, invaded the Earth in search of nice soil. Now, the Koffeans were known for for their fine crafted-tables as well as leaving their spores or "beans" all about the place.
The tables caught on amongst the Bronze-Age desert nomads and, well the spores sprouted.
And they will be back, oh mark my words...they will be back...

I hate when they sterotype coffee tables! I use mine for coffee but I'm addicted to caffeine so what can I say?
