As a hardcore cure-fan since 1983 this is not at all difficult.
There are only two masterpieces in Smith's discography "Pornography" and "Disintegration" the others where just fantastic albums. Smith himself points out these two and wanted to add a third to make it a "trilogy" but "Bloodflowers" had to offer nothing of the depth and intensity of the other two. My favourite cure song though is "faith" especially the live version on the b-side of the "Charlotte Sometimes"-Maxi-Single. "Kiss me" and "Wish" are beautiful but best...? Maybe for people who came across Cure through "Lovesong" and "Why can't I be you" the alternative pop side of Cure, but not for someone who has identified The Cure with emmense teenage angst.

Wow, that is an awesome question. I honestly really do not think I could answer that, since each album sort of serves its own purpose. Kiss Me is definitely great, the head on the door, japanese whispers, wish, disintegration, boys don't cry...how could one ever pick a favorite?

Oh, that's really difficult..
Um.. I'll say Disintegration and Bloodflowers because those are the two i've been playing the most recently.
[I had to buy another copy of Bloodflowers yesterday, i'd played the original too much hehe].
I love all of their albums though, so my opinion will probably change tomorrow.

I think expecting a hard-core Cure fan to answer a question like this is to wish impossible things.
It's not like I could just whip up an answer in 17 seconds.
I guess I'd say my favorites are all the ones starting with "three imaginary boys" and ending with "Wish."

So hard to pick because for me it's favorite songs by them. If I had to pick I would pick Head on the Door just because of In Between Days and Close to Me.
