Nope. I think being happy with someone else can be very special, exciting and wonderful. But the same person who was wonderful can change, so you'd be better off alone.

Happiness is subjective. What makes you happy might not be right for me. What makes me happy might not be sufficient for you.

I'm guessing that you wouldn't ask, unless you were contemplating being alone, perhaps as a result of some sort of break-up. If you're uncertain, you might find a counselor.

Some of the factors that could affect your happiness as a single include- financial stability (do you depend on someone else?) or emotional security (do you see yourself as complete without being part of a pair?) or domestic competence (have you ever lived alone?) Each of these are major in anyone's life. The answers for me may not be the answers for you, yet we could both be right. Good luck with finding your answer.

No, some people are happier by their selves. I am much happier and more at peace with myself since my divorce 7 years ago. I don't even date or try to find another man because I don't want to make another mistake. Evidently I am a poor judge of character and I like the way my life is now.

Some people are just wrotten to the core, they are better off alone. They have no ability to deal with other people and sacrifice even the tiniest bit to make everyone happier.

No, not always. I have been married two times and I have come to realize that I am happier when I am by myself. It is more peaceful and I don't have anyone else to put up with.

I would say no. How you decide to pursue happiness is your own decision whether you decide to pursue happiness alone or as half of a couple.
