You should judge him by his/her popularity, ability to carry a gimmick, wrestling ability, mic skills (or if he/her cant speak English a good manager), presence in a building (he/she should make the crowd go nuts when he arrives), (if he/she doesnt have a lot of ability) good utilization of certain moves,
and overall good out of the ring character (You wouldnt like him if hes/shes a jack@$$ outside the ring).
Some of these things most wrestlers don't have due to everyone knows their fake now, and they feel they dont have to put up a good show for the audience.
Qualities Number 2, 4 the part in parentheses, 5, and 6 are especially important for giant wrestlers, because the crowd doesnt expect them to do a lot of incredible wrestling moves so they should make the crowd over look that like The Big Show and Andre the Giant did. They were truly great wrestlers even though they could do little in the ring.

I look for a few things
1. Wrestling ability-Most important
2. Interview skills and Talking ability
3. Selling Ability
4. This last one is a lil strange, but I like to see how a wrestler can perform as a face and a heel. I they can perform both well, then I give them a lil but more respect.

2. Gimmick
3. Mic skills/charisma
4. Ability to get me off my feet
often i do not conciously decide "i like this wrestler", rather i watch some of their matches and find myself excited every time they come to the ring, whether to wrestle or even just to talk sh*t.

Easy Rogerc...this is sacred ground you tread on.
Anyway, I judge wrestlers by their personalities (not necessarily their characters...but how they get fans to get into the match of the promo), their wrestling talent, and their ability to speak (with the exception of a few wrestlers who's charisma override their lack of speech).

I don't know. I think about the skills they bring to the ring. Also, I like the entertainment factor in certain wrestlers.
