What's the point? The current Congress is just as dead and Carter... whell cheese he is a barrel short lately. Then we have the Hillbilly's wanting to come back. Hell in 1977 Carter pardoned the igit for draft dodging ... Carter appoint the hilly mobster to his Legal Corporation fall of the same year... 1978 he became Governor of all he saw in Arkansas...

I think I'll do you one better, let's get Ronald Reagan nominated in 1976 so he takes office in 1977, and the 8 Reagan Years would be 77-84, and he does his tax cuts and that establishes that 80s wealth class that led to the internet and computer revolutions of the 90s,
plus Reagan would have done his Military Spending which as we all know those of us who study history we know the Soviet Union saw the US Military Buildup as cause for them to spend all kinds of resources trying to match our pace and inevitably after the fall of the Berlin Wall the Soviet Union fell,
so lets just say ok the George Bush is President in 1985, Soviet Union falls in 1988,
Saddam Hussien would have invaded Kuwait in about 1989, and George Bush would have gone after him and kicked him out of Kuwait.
Who knows, would he have gone to Baghdad then right there and then in 1990?
Probably not, we have to assume the timeline stands.
So, Dan Quale vs Bill Clinton in 1992, Bill to win in a landslide,
Reagan would have handled the later 70s better.
Yeah, sign me up for this history.
