Condi Rice said Iran has to stop being 'irresponsible' - What exactly is America's definition of 'irresponsible'? And what if we juxtaposition Iranian irresponsibility next to America's invasion of Iraq?

I get sick and tired of this 'Iran wants to wipe Israel off the face of the earth' remark when justifying war with Iran. Ahmedinnajed is just as capable of playing to his crowd as Bush is to his. His remark about Israel is hardly surprising is it. It amazes me how some Americans (and probably Brits) are always so utterly sure we're right and johnny foreigner is wrong - Loads of great answers it going to be hard to pick a best one.
CharJ. Thanks for the edit.

Pick me up if I'm wrong here....Iran is a sovereign nation, that should be free to develop technology in exactly the the same way as Britain & the USA are free to develop technology........or is the USA frightened that other nations will catch up with it and then it will no longer be able to fulfil its role as the world's bully....It's my ball you're not playing!

I am not pro war at all but seriously some of you fuzzy wuzzy hearted people need to experience the fear and courage that our grandparents did in WW2. People think that everyone should be allowed to do whatever they want, well Iran creating nukes scares the hell out of me, this is not the sort of a thing you give people a chance with.
Would you give you baby a loaded gun to play with, quoting that they should have free will till they do something... well by then it's to late.
I don't agree with what the Americans have done but the taliban declared war on the west, so I am glad that someone is trying to do something, even if 50 percent of their reasoning is prbably oil related.

Brilliant question
Well the USA is not really in that great a position to call anyone in the world irresponsible same goes with the UK.
It seems like the USA is trying to stop Iran making nuclear weapons.
But then that starts the debate why should America be allowed nukes but Iran are not and to that question I have no idea

Sabre rattling by Bush
Well possibly, but it is his actions that are keeping a lid on most of the despots of the world at the moment.
Call Bush what you want, but this world would be a sorrier place if bush was not keeping their heads down.
The trouble will start if Bush is replaced with some Liberal d/stick, at that time, every fanatic in the world will suddenly crawl out f the rock that they presently hide under.
So be carful for what you wish, you just might get it.

I believe that the "little man from Iran" stated that Israel should be wiped off the face of the earth. I believe that is a very irresponsible statement.
We wouldn't have our freedom if we were not in Iraq.
Go TROOPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hehe...Aren't you few getting tired of this yet?
We're "brainwashed, murderers, etc., etc., yadda, yadda, yadda."
Please flip the record and play the other side.

I do believe Ahmedinajad is a threat to the Western world, but the people here are honestly not being brainwashed. What you all don't understand is that our (citizens') hands are tied. I don't want to knock my nation and I do have respect for the office of the presidency, but to me G. W. Bush has us in enough peril...we don't need anymore.

You're talking apples and oranges. The U.S. didn't liberate the Iraqis from Saddam in order to kill people but to save them from his terrorizing reigime.
Iran's dictator president wants to wipe Israel off the map literally. How is that responsible leadership?

I wish to remain a Christian, and whatever it takes I support.
Although the west has the bomb we have the stability and intelligence not to use it willy nilly. Do you trust people with a Kamikaze mindset.
