Sometimes cover versions can be better than the original, but certainly not in this case - I was appalled when I heard it and think Michael Buble should sue!

I know what you mean I recently heard that song by Westlife, and I think that by sampling another song will give them more of a chance with success as people will recognize the older song and that may be the only thing they like about it is the catchiness or the original. But I agree it seems a lot of songs lately are doing this, but it also seems like by 'covering' songs they end up doing fairly well.

I hear you...I'd love to kick the collective @$$es of James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett, Jason Newstead and Lars Ulrich (they're the members of Metallica, for those of you who don't know) for absolutely RUINING one of the best rock ballads of all time -- "Turn the Page" by Bob Seger.

Axel Rose, has a good voice but sometimes you'll wish he would shut up and let slash play and wish that he didn't screw up the end of Sweet Child O Mine.
