My water just broke (actually its still kinda breaking, lol) I'm waiting for my mom to come get me to take me to L&D but I was wondering, am I allowed to go pee real quick or will it cause infection cause I have a bladder infection right now.

I have no idea why you're taking the time to write a question, much less willing to take advice from strangers at such a critical time, nor do I understand why you think it's funny ("lol").

Regardless, assuming that your concern is for the unborn child getting an infection from your pee, it doesn't work that way. Aside from the fact that you should have been getting treatment for the infection from your ob/gyn, which should have made this a non-concern, and keeping in mind that youngsters view this site, the "baby" parts and the "pee" parts are completely separate. The baby is well-protected from such, so, go right ahead and "pee", assuming you can tear yourself away from the computer!

YES! You can go pee - they'll probably put you on an antibiotic at the hospital if you're not already on one. You shouldn't take a bath and you shouldn't have sex after your water breaks - you should also limit the number of times they check you - you don't want to introduce infection internally. Going pee is FINE!
Good Luck Honey!!!

totally normal to pee. just wipe well. You'll pee more at the hospital! the only worry about infection is if you SIT in it!
Take care...best wishes

I would say just go pee, but when you get to the hospital make sure you tell them that you have gone to the bathroom.

Since it's been 6 minutes since you asked, I'm hoping you've relieved yourself.. women urinate and defecate during delivery all the time. If you have an epidural usually they give you a catheter so you don't have to get up to use the toilet and you can't feel those muscles anyway.

Congrats and good luck!!!!
