If the msg. relates to your PC (rather than the ADSL Router) the problem is in on internal side of your home network ..

Assuming all your kit uses DHCP, sounds as if the IP address table has become corrupted in your router.

Easy answer is ...
Turn off all your kit. Turn off the router. Turn it back on again & wait for it to come up. Then start turning on your kit again ..

if you right click on the local network icon in the task bar, do a repair.

for a more techincal answer.

open dos. start>run>type in cmd>press enter.
when dos is open, type in these commands exactly.

ipconfig/release (let it do its thing)
ipconfig/renew (let it do its thing)

you should be good at that point.

your message means something on the network grabbed your ipdress. If you are in a router, someone grabbed your dhcp range number and when you turned on your pc, your pc stored the last known number. releasing and renewing will tell your pc to grab a new number off the dhcp range.
