I'm pretty much set on these for Boy/Girl twins, I just wanted to know what your thoughts were.

Girl: Remy Elizabeth
Boy: Rory Elijah

love the names if they were swapped.

rory for the girl and remy for the boy.....

rory really has become a girls name.....and even though i like remy for a girl, i love your names and i think it would just be better for rory-girl and remy-boy.

take care and good luck with all those babies!!!

I'm not keen on Remy for a girl (probably because I went to see the film Ratatouille and the main character is a rat called Remy!) . It could be a lot worse though!

Other than that I like all those names, especially Elijah - I didn't think anyone liked it except for me!

Rory is definitely not a girls name - I know a boy called Rory.

I like both names, but since you're planning on using them as a set, I'm less certain.

It always feels like twins share an awful lot. Giving them names that are so close strikes me as unfair. In this case, both names are gender neutral, so there's the added challenge of not knowing which is the boy and which is the girl. (If I were guessing, I'd assume that Remy is the boy and Rory is the girl.)

They're great names; just not sure if they work for siblings, much less twins.

I do not like Remy for a girl and it is too cutseypie to go with such a formal name as Elizabeth. I really like the name Rory. Elijah is ok. Consider Aurora (Rory for short) Elizabeth and Remus or Remmington (Remy for short) Elijah.

These are oddly dissimilar, and at the same time overly matchy. Somehow it seems even more odd to choose two names that SOUND awfully alike, without actually having even remotely related origins. A common masculine French name recently used for a movie rat (for the girl LOL) and a Celtic one (popular for both genders) for the boy?? Just makes it very obvious they were chosen because they have similar sound elements, regardless of the names themselves or meaning/origin behind them. Bizarre.

And given the above comments, though I'm perfectly familiar with Rory as a masculine given name or nickname for Riordan, Ronan, etc., it's used just as often as a nickname for Aurora, Lorelei and the like (and very popular, given the television character usage). So knowing Remy is a male name, most will easily assume Rory a feminine nickname and Remy the boy, in this matchy set. :(

I'd seriously keep looking for names that are actually complimentary, rather than an overly-matched "set" that manages to make both names seem poorly-thought-out, to be quite honest.

I like them except I'm sorry when I say this but when I hear the name Rory I think of it being a girl's name. I love the middle names tho! maybe you could switch them around so you have

Elizabeth Remy
&
Elijah Rory

hmmmm actually I'm not sure they flow as nice as they do like what you have them. But I really really really really reeeeaalllyy like Elizabeth and Elijah!!!!!!!! HOW CUTE!!!!

But the name choice is TOATALLY up to the parents!

GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(twins are sooo much fun- i'm a twin and I have a twin brother so a boy/girl twin) Both our names start with the same letter too.)

They are too rhyme-ish for me but they are nice on their own.

you could go with Gregory Elijah and Ramona (or maybe Regina?) Elizabeth and nickname them Rory and Remy..... Just a thought.
