I know what you mean! Sometimes I wonder if I'm a little morbid b/c when they tell me I need a shot, I start happily swinging my feet in anticipation. I absolutely loooove watching them draw my blood (even if I DO feel a little tingly and woozy afterwards due to being anemic). Maybe I'm part vampire and like others to enjoy taking blood. I don't know. But I absolutely can NOT stick a needle in myself! Oh, and the one time I was supposed to get my finger pricked, I was crying like a baby and wouldn't let them. When they sighed and finally told me they'd stick a needle in my arm instead, I immediately stopped crying, swung my feet and said "Left arm?"

I hate finger pricks too!! For some reason they are way worse than any shot!! I have no problem getting shots at the doctor's office or having blood drawn. The only time I freak out (or want to, lol) is at the dentist. I hate getting Novocaine!

I was hospitalized for 6 months and I don't even react except when they try a blood draw and twist the needle around to hit a vein, that hurts

Doesn't bother me, I actually enjoy the challenge of pain. I also like seeing the vile fill up with blood when they draw the blood.

I don't mind either, but my husband (who is covered with tatoos) is terrified of needles. Go figure. He says that he just doesn't like the hollow ones that they try to stick in ya.
