I will not feel safe in this country until the following are fixed:
Boarder Security
Homeland Security
Increase the minimal law enforcement
Intelligence system.
I would also like to add these should be fixed before we entertain bringing any our soldiers home from Iraq, Afghanistan, and Bosnia.

You infer that a target is on your head...Placed there by your president? And by every country do you include Switzerland and Mexico? I will infer that you might be an unhappy Democrat...Or a victim of the terrorvision in our airwaves...And if there is global warming why are so many countries so cold to democracy as an option..We as humans have a right to suffer...Choosing not to suffer should also be a viable alternative to the sky is falling message your question pointedly ask's.I know others ask this same question and I wonder what is the REAL topic in their lives that is being avoided by this misdirection to the worlds stage.Because really, why are you so unhappy with just living? And since blame is the opposite of forgiveness...Where are you going with your fear?

C'mon Laura, China and Russia have had nukes "pointed at us" since before GW entered office.
Your statement "targeted by every country" is sophmoric.
Why would China who's economy thrives on the US by their cheap goods nuke their number 1 customer. Why would Russia nuke the country that bails them out economically an feeds them?
Take a deep breath and relax. everything is A-OK.

If China and Russia have targets on our heads it's certainly not because of Bush. I guess you believe that Bush caused 911 too? To answer your question. Yes, I feel safe with Bush, because I know he's not going to take any crap no matter how unpopular it is. That's why I'm leaning toward Giuliani more and more every day.

That's the same crap they said about Russia from the '50s through the '80s. The basement of every building put up during those times has a placard that says "fallout shelter."

Making enemies is no way to become safe. And our politians sure know how to make enemies! I really hate that they use fear to control us, and their timing of so called "events" or "new information" is very suspect. I'd feel a lot safer if we made moves to change our politics and quit baiting other nations.

I feel very safe.
I wouldn't worry about the nukes. It's not going to happen. They have always been pointed at us, just like ours have always been pointed at them.
America has always been a target. That is why we spend so much on military technology.

If liberals like Carl Levin are to have their way and block missile technology and development, then I would be concerned.
(well, the most recent ballistic advancements that Clinton and Gore haven't handed over to the Chinese)
