Than the speed of light, (if it were possible) and travelled back in time to the big bang could you go beyond that time.

The question contains its own paradox.

Time is only measurable or interpetable by the passing of events and the singularity that is the big bang is, of necessity an infinitely dense series of events.

Just as you can approach the speed of light but never get there, you can approach seeing the big bang, but never see its true beginning.

Or to put it another way, "seeing" depends on vision with requires light which didn't exist by the formal definition at the time of the singularity.

It's only a theory that nothing can go faster than the speed of light.

I asked a question a couple days ago about what happened three days before the big bang. Everyone answered intelligently, except one person.

The answer is: We don't know what happened before the big bang.

I like to think of it as a big video tape. If we could rewind it, what would we see before the big bang went boom.

There are theories and postulates and guesses and assumptions, but we don't know. Some people think they know, but they don't. We all hope that one day we'll know.

check it out

as of YET........

nothing can go fatser than the speed of light except teleporting a quantum particle.

but teleporting doesn't warp sapce time, it only shows that particles can communicate instantly over huge distances in certain situations.

even moving the speed of light won't send you back that far. It will only work for during the time that you ARE traveling the speed of light.

good luck doc. I wish ya the best.

if we could answer your question about before the big bang, then we would have a sure answer for the process of the creation of our universe.

but we don't........ yet

1. You can't travel at the speed of light
2. Time didn't exist before the Big Bang

who knows, but its said tht there was no time b4 big bang, i disagree however
b4 the big bang everything was possible, b/c all the forces were singularity

Theoretically but not in this universe.

It all depends if you have a flux capacitor...
