Umm... Not on a first date, but jokingly- yes. Like when I tease my boyfriend he tells me he hates me but with a smile so I know he's kidding. Was this dude serious or messing around?

LOL yes.
It was a blind date but as soon as we met up he said "YOUR my date?" and I said "apparently so" and he said "are you ffffing kidding me? We went to school together and you're a bbbbb. I don't even like you, I actually hate you" and walked away.
Honestly I'm one of the nicest people I know so I think he may have had me confused with a girl who looked like me....
I just laughed it off, called my girls and we went drinking!
I was dressed up and cute, I wasn't about to waste it!

nope, but this one kid once told me that, turned out he had a crush on me and his friends teased him about it so he would say he hated me LOL
