Yes. your tear ducts and your mouth are connected. BRB - need to find the proof for the thumbs downs I'll get for saying that.

Tear duct connected to sinus cavity -> throat ->mouth

Well, it can get in the eyes and ear but it won't come out of the mouth.

Yes,That actually happened to someone in my science class, only their friend had their contacts in and the contact rolled back to the back of the eye, detached and then ended up in their mouth, disgusting!!!
