let n = 1st int
n+1 = 2nd int (since they are consecutive)
n+2 = 3rd

3*(n+1) = 5*n.

Let x = the first integer.
The second integer is then (x+1)

So 3(x+1)=5(x)

This equation is correct however it has NO SOLUTIONS. The consecutive values will never work out to be two integers. When you solve for it you get a fraction which is by definition not an integer.

Hope this helps some!
