FOr everyone who says WMD's that was Clinton's intel and you are trying to reward his lies by elected his wife it's all to funny. Admit it you are just paying politics.

It is an illegal war. GWB blatantly lied to the American people. He claimed that the reasoning behind the invasion of Iraq was because there was evidence of WMD and he believed that Iraq was behind the 9/11 incident. It's evident that Bush had NO evidence of either. He is a liar.

This answer is for Who Cares......in Feb. of 1998 twice the president stated that Iraq had WMDs and then a senator stated the same thing in May of 2000. Oh wait she was not a senator yet but running for that office of New York at the time. Both of these people shared this information with the now president and he acted on it. Then those who were the former presidents intel officers gave him the same intel that they gave the Senate.
So unless you really believe the mirth that the liberals are saying you should look up the facts first then make a comment. I was going to say make an intelligence comment but for most Liars.......I mean liberals they do not know what that is.....INTELLIGENCE!

They call themselves Liberals, but that is just their cover for Socialistic oppression of our freedoms. Every time they pass a law to help everyone they chip away at our liberties. They are against the War, not because of the bad intel, or even the idea that the War may be wrong. They are opposed to it because there is a Republican in the White House and by undermining the War some how makes them seem to be the lesser of two evils in Washington.
I wish America would just open it’s eyes and call them Socialists, because that is what they are. A true Liberal would fight for our freedoms and not bind us with government ran programs for our own good. They are just like an over protective mother that coddles her child to the point in which he is dysfunctional. Unfortunately for us we have the conservatives on the other side that would gladly turn the keys of power over to the Capitalist or we can be suppressed by the Liberals. Our only other choice is the Independents and they are like that crazy uncle we are afraid to leave our kids with. How did our choices get so very limited in this country?

The Iraq war was illegal under International law and that International law, the UN charter was ratified by the United States of America making it the Supreme law of the land

This is NOT about a war, this is about winning seats in Congress and the Presidential election. These people don't give a da*n about the troopers or the Iraqis. They only care about political power so they can forward their socialist agenda.

It is an illegal war. Do some research outside of Fox News and Rush and you'll find out that they PURPOSELY mislead the country to war. They knew their intelligence wasn't solid, but it didn't stop them from claiming they had "bullet proof evidence".

Because the resolution was based upon deliberately falsified intelligence provided by the White House.
Iraq had complied with the condition of the ceasefire - Bush lied.
Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction - Bush lied.
Iraq no longer had the capability of using WMDs against anyone - Bush lied.
Members of Al Qieda were not "in Iraq" - Bush lied.
Iraq was not aiding anti-US terrorist groups - Bush lied.
Iraq was not involved in 9/11 - Bush lied.
Don't forget that Congress passed the resolution after being told by the White House that Iraq had WMDs, including chemical and nuclear weapons, in missles capable of reaching the United States, fueled and ready to launch. It wasn't true. Bush lied.

because it violates international law. the u.n. policy on warfare states that a country cannot start an unprovoked war without the consent of the u.n.

As confessed by several people that have left the administration, Bush and Cheney hand picked the intel that they presented to Congress as justification for the invasion of Iraq. Why do you guys have trouble believing this when people from this administration have said it is true?

It clearly states in the UN charter, which America is a signatory to, that it is illegal to use force of arms against a sovereign nation which is not threatening the invading nation. It is illegal in international law.
