Hi mom. Guess what. I have a found a fellow that is now my boyfriend. I know that you don't want me to have any boyfriend at present but I really like him. He lives out of town so we won't see much of each other but he is in my life now so damage is done. You'll come to really like him too when you meet him. Best of luck.

Well in some states, if a 17 year old has consenting intercourse with a 15, it is considered statatoury rape so you might want to get someone your own age. Your mom doesn't want you to have a boyfriend because she doesn't want a chance that you get pregnant. That may not be the case but it would for my child.
One way to perhaps change her mind is sit her down and ask her the reasoning why she won't allow you to have a boyfriend. Then think about those reasons, and respond in a mature manor to calm her fears and show that you are mature enough to have a boyfriend. If you storm off yelling you treat me like a child, in essence you would be acting like a child and reinforcing your mother's decision to not let you have a boyfriend. But if you respond to her fears and say don't worry we aren't going to have sex,and I am not ready and I know I am not old enough to handle that at 15. She may just change her mind. Good luck - and remember your mom has your best interests in mind and loves you. A big sign of your maturity will be for you to respect your mother's decision, regardless of what she decides.

If you are going to tell your mom about your boyfriend, make sure she knows that it is not going to be serious. Even if you plan on it being serious, it will comfort her knowing you are not sexually active. If your boyfriend is a nice guy he will come over and introduce himself to your mom before you hangout together. Also, it never hurts for both your parents to talk to each other at some point. This makes both parties feel safer. I dated a girl that was 15 when I was 17 and this is how I went about making her and her family feeling more comfortable about the whole situation. If he is a good guy, he will understand and help you out.

Some Mom's are very protective. Sit with her and tell her that you are interested in a boy and would like to remain friends with him. Ask her if she would be willing to meet him. My daughter is 14 and at first I shrieked, but eventually as a mom I had to realize these teen girls have hormones, interests in the other sex, and enjoy meeting boys. However, I don't let them have tons of free time together. They have dinner with me once in awhile.
I think openess is important for both Mom and Daughter! If she meets him, she may just love him to death!!

I met my hubby at age 15, we dated 9 years, and have been married for over 30 years now. I love and adore him........... HOWEVER, times have changed and to be quite true with you, I didn't let my 3 adult children date until they were age 16, and they could only be on a "couples date".....not alone.
Now, to answer your question directly............. Always be HONEST!! If you try to sneak, you may be unpleasantly surprised. Honesty wins.

tell her how you feel about growing up and let her know that you think you are old enough to start dating and then you could go from there if she don't agree then maybe you should wait or just go with your own decision

Get pregnant, then you won't have to tell her you have a boyfriend, she will probably figure it out.
P.S. don't get pregnant for this reason.
