“Liberating an entire country while also intentionally drawing global terrorists to Iraq,” seems very sinister.

It's just the Republicans. They have an "End Justify the Means" philosophy for solving problems. As long as the Reps don't get caught up in the cross fire, they could care less who is harmed or affected by their actions. They only care about themselves. They love to brag about how much better Iraq is today even though the death tolls from this war have dwarfed the numbers under Saddams control.

Liberation should come with in. No country has the right to force another country into its way of thinking, and you certainly don't accomplish this by bombing, invading, kidnapping and torturing the citizens of said country. Again, the end justifies the means in the eye of the ignorant Republicans. As long their child doesn't have to fight and the the oil keeps coming in, they could care less whose lives are ruined or destroyed in the process.

a) No, it's not racist, but America is pretty much a red state...with a sprinkling of blue.
b) Yes. Well, maybe not 'better' since Iraqi's have every bit the intelligence and potential as Americans have, but one look at both countries should be enough to convince you that America, at this point in time, is significantly better than Iraq. And, Americans and Iraqis had to have had a hand in their individual situation.
c) The terrorists were already there. Perhaps not in the specific form of Al Quada, but they were there, particularly in the form of the Iraqi government. You want to talk about terrorists? You need only look at Saddam himself who routinely rounded up and killed over 125 Iraqi men, women and children every day using some of the most horrific methods imaginable. You talk about sinister? Look up the word, his face is there. At least now the people of Iraq have an opportunity for freedom, democracy AND security...but it's going to take time. Under Saddam, there was no opportunity for any of that.

Hope that helps. Thanks for playing.

Coming from a Partly American person in the U.K . Some Americans are rude sometimes but things are on the up, seeing people in San Diego helping people they dont know is just brillant. I agree becasue America have got largest econmy, most powerfull milltary ect they sometimes think there better than over people in world same with Americas closest friend the U.K which are also very powerfull and rich, which also have same culture as Americans. Realy we take things for granted like the Americans and British have nice houses, peacefull family life, lots of nice things, secure goverment and safty having powerfull armies we sometimes think we are alot more valuable to other people in the world but ... in Gods image we are of the same value and are all very valuable!

No, on balance, America is 'Blue' in the political color-code sense, with the majority of American voters registered Democrat. That Republicans have won the presidency at all in the last 60 years is a testimony to the extremely poor choices Democrats have made in thier primary elections.

Most Americans accept the multi-culturalist dogma of the political left to a greater or lesser degree, so actually (even if they don't think about it much) have learned to have more respect for other cultures than for thier own. In some cases that rises to the level of self-hatred, for most, it's more a sort of guilty humility. Those Americans who manage to feel genuine pride in thier country and vest thier self-worth in that pride are distinctly in the minority, and, yes, are concentrated in the generlaly rural 'Flyover' Red States, and are looked upon by the enlightened majority as ignorant racist white trash redkneck hicks.

Better than the Iraqis??? It's the Republicans that want them to be free and have better lives, remember? I guess you think they were so happy under Saddam. A man that rapped, tortured, murdered his people and dumped their bodies in mass graves like dead dogs. Saddam was the biggest terrorist of all. Hey Lib, even your woman Hillary disagrees with you.

"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members ... It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons."

Normal Americans are only as rascist as they are taught to be but the people who govern certainly behave in a very racist manner (imagine if the Iraqis were white Christians - think they'd have invaded?) although whether they are or not is irrelevant really - all they are interested in is wealth and power nothing else and they will 'befriend' anyone who it is advantageous to do so.

Sounds like your taking a college course. Professors are dangerous. Careful, you are going to lose a lot of friends outside of the campus and you start normal life in the big city

It sounds to me like you have a bad case of depression.

Depression is a serious illness that will ruin your life and it may even kill you.

I recommend that you see a Psychiatrist to get treatment for your depression.

Once you are treated for you depression you will find that you will become much more productive, your life will become much more pleasant and the questions that you post on this site will be much more coherent and will make much more sense.
