We love our family because they're our family, but what made you love your SO?

Was it just a normal infatuation that turned out okay because you both got along together?

BTW: This question is for people who have been in their current relationship for 5+ years.

Thanks in advance! =D

This is the way God planned it. I guess we can blame this on Adam and Eve! LOL! I have thought I was in love many times. When I met this man I knew I was in love with my life long soul mate. I have been married to him for 13 years and OMG he is still making my heart putter. Yes it starts off with infatuation, but as time goes you both become as one. 1/2 and1/2 is a whole. I can't imagine being with anyone else. Best wishes to you all looking for love. Just don't look for love in all the wrong places.

I love my boyfriend because he is my best friend. I've never told him this but before I met him I felt like something was missing in my life. Don't get me wrong I love my family and friends very much. However, when I met my boyfriend we connected on soo many levels. We've been together for 5 years and we still finish each other sentences. We're such as sappy couple lol! I love him more and more everyday. We can talk for hours and hours. We never get tired of each other. My heart races when I'm around him. I just love him for being himself.

I love him because he completes me. He really is my other, better half. He keeps me safe...and he's just so gosh darn sweet, lol. There's just something about him, he still makes me feel like a little 15 year old girl all giggly and stuff sometimes, LOL. Marrying him is definitely the best decision I've ever made :-D

i love my husband because he's always there with me fighting the good fight so to say. We know the kind of life we want and hes out there in the trenches with me all day every day working for it. And when its tough I have him. My cousin was killed this week and he shows up at my job with my favorite sandwhich from my favorite place big drinks and just wants to be with me. I feel more at home with him then I have ever felt alone

You learn to love your SO as it just does not happen overnight. As the years go by you know, beyond a shadow, of a doubt that you would die for this person and that live without them isn't worth the meaning of.

I love my husband because he is sweet, takes care of me & my kids and cares if anything is wrong. We have a lot in common. Him the same way. We know we cant live without eachother. Sure there are fights but who doesn't have fights? My ex-husband and his girlfriend says they never fight. I don't believe that. They are full of it. Good luck.

I love him because he's kind, loving, attractive and generous. He always tries to be there for me when I'm down. He is a great father to our 2 boys. And he's great in bed!!!

he was the first person (beside my parents, grandparents) who really took care of me. sure, i can take care of myself, but he worried about me, cared about me, protected me, loved me, even though he didn't have to do any of those things. i've been through quite a bit in my life, and he really took extra time and effort to help me through. that takes a lot of sacrifice and some serious commitment. after that, i knew i couldn't let him go. our five year anniversary is in dec. and we've been married since june.

because every morning...he wakes up and participates in my life and the kids life willingly and with lots of fun. I don't have to force him into a relationship with me..he is there because he wants to be
