dont be dismayed, I and many others alspo like to pull things aapart and fiddle around with thngs and mucha s I wish I was he queen of cool things that mnagicalay just shed the dirt,and mud blew away, and rust never even existed - well life isn't like that- I frequently blatt things aboaut at top speed and then wi]sh i HADN'T BEEN SUCH A SILLLY aarse!
So. in suumary - I am drunk , I should not have been answering my mail - thank fcukk this is awebsit e and not an actual peson I know but to recap - yes - you should fix the crap you breakk while being a silly bugger running it around, have fun and alot of tea and biscuits - it makes the gring=d mre fun!!

well when your car breaks down do you"just junk em"?
no you have to work on them.
pull parts out, replace parts...etc.
