I am pretty open and honest about my life. I am careful with some people, because of the hurt and pain they have caused. But as a Christian, we really need to be as transparent as we can, so as to help other people, who may be hurting, or feeling unworthy about something they have done in the past. It is a risk you take, but I am prepared to do it.

When I was age 18 the FBI found a skeleton in my closet that I was unaware of. When I enlisted in the Navy, my background check was help up. I was interviewed by two agents of the FBI who had my file with them. They informed me that a distant cousin of mine was the Nazi premier of occupied Norway during the Second World War.
To this day I neve dispute the assertion that J. Edgar Hoover had files on just about everyone.

Skeletons? Sure, plenty...I don't have a great need to share my life with others unless it is funny! Life is just too serious, and if you let all the mystery out at once, what else is there to learn of another...I dole out the skeletons, one at a time as I become trusting of the other. And besides, no one is into too much info from most. Any and all dead bodies I have left in my wake have been picked up, are long ago underground, and left at that. Let's face it, from what we see here with all this reporting, etc., society would be better off without some of its members! Now, where in the hell did I leave that damned gun? Love and peace, Goldwing

Along with the plastic one that I just got out for Halloween, theres a few little bones in there but nothing major. I think everyone has some private things in their life that they would rather not be public knowledge but would probably not be devastated if they were revealed. Some things would be hurtful to other innocent people so its best to let them remain in the closet.

O I know there are some hiding deep behind all the coats and clothes from when I was a young one and that is where they will stay......
Nothing too bad, but nothing worth trying to talk about now.....my life has moved on and left the skeletons behind and hopefully they do not decide to jump out ---any time soon.......LOL

Yes I do and they are staying there, way in the back!
Edit: I went along and gave everyone a "thumbs up" hoping to off set the "thumbs down." Hope it helps!

Was that man Al Gore?
I've got a few smiling skeleton faces in mine, and as Forrest Gump would say, "That's all I have to say about that."

Come on in and take off your skin and rattle around in your bones. Of course I have skeletons. And that is all I will say.

Excellent question. Me too.
I tried to think of a way to word a very similiar idea.
Being in relationshps formed later in life I've not taken the time to tell all adventures, battles and successes to people. So much of it is water under the bridge. Those things made me who I am today.
Many things I'm not proud of and many other things are to dear to my heart or too painful to share.
Thumbing the nose at us--again.
