I once was told by a guy I was dating that he was leaving the country & didn't want to "have to leave me". Then I saw him a week later going with a girl that would put out... I thought that was lovely.

At my annual birthday party, we joke about having a "lamest excuse for not showing up" contest, and awarding the winner a prize that we "just didn't have time" to buy.
The all-time winner was for a guy who didn't show up because he twisted his ankle. I just don't think you could get any more lame than that.

Well honey, I was once waiting for a friend and he told me that he's still in the toilet though. Just by waiting for him gives me that stomach cramps as an hour has passed instead.

This girl and I were supposed to go on a date but when I got to her house she was like "I can't go my dog just died and I'm just to sad" but then this dude came to the door HOLDING her dog!! she was cheating on me by the way.
