I have learned to go back and check. Once, I answered a question on who was smarter... girls or boys. I left my answer and said " if you want, put me to the test." The guy had to email me to check and I found he had put me to the test! lol
I got best answer and told I was very smart and had a high IQ.
It pays to check!

I always mean to check back on some of them, but I rarely do. Not enough time to back track...I will read the answers already there to a question, before I answer to make sure I don't duplicate but I forget to read any comments made by the one who ask the question. It's all about me, I guess..LOL

Everyday, before I start looking at new questions, I go through all the questions I answered the previous day.
But I mostly look to see if I have received any thumb ratings and to give thumbs up ratings to answers I like that came after mine.

I come back to look for comments, thumbs up, mispellings and comments I want to make on other answers.

I look, especially in R&S, where I'm more acquainted with the Regulars. Some of them add comments to their questions in greeting to answerers.

Yes, I sometimes check. It's interesting to see what else people put. I see the whole thing as not just an opportunity for me to share my knowledge, but also to gain knowledge & understanding.

Only if i think of that particular question is unforgettable and i really like then...then sure! Otherwise, i don't really care...
