I married in Vegas, partly to avoid family conflict on my wedding day and partly for the simplicity of it.

I'd prefer to get married in the States, but getting married abroad to a foreigner is something else and something that I'd like to do (if I can't find that special someone in the States, that is).

My bf has been talking about getting married in Scotland which could be cool. Although difficult for friends and family to travel to, it would be a special moment between us, and a very romantic story...
