When you are aware of one of their groups cronic Hepititis C infection. Should I say something to them or the the health department? They have small children and I'm afraid that they are in danger.

Sex is a natural experience with adults and should be enjoyed but the exposure in this group can lead to serious health problems even death.

What should I do, if anything, or let them have their fun now and pay later?

Call your local health department and ask this question. They will help you do something that is legal and still effective.

Since the virus is deadly, a person who knowingly exposes another could be arrested for attempted murder.

This is serious and is not something one can ignore due to privacy concerns. If you know someone was playing Russian Roulette with an unknowing person you would call the police regardless of the privacy issue.

I have a good friend that died recently from hepatitis C, also they are doing liver transplants now that would help the perpetrator.

If you KNOW the children are being exposed to their behavior, this would warrant action.

If they are having their own fun and are not publicly displaying it, it is none of your business.

If you KNOW one of them has an STD and somehow the others don't, it might be a nice thing for you to tell someone. But most likely either you are misinformed or they know and deal with it.

My husband and I do the same thing but the kids are 100% unaware, and we keep it quiet and don't involve the neighbors. We are quite stealthy in our actions.

I say close the blinds and look the other way. The only reason you should get involved is if you participate.....other than that just let them be foolish and pray the children aren't in contact with this. However if you do find out that the children are "really' exposed tot his and you have facts not suspicion, then call the appropriate authority's. Until then just let it go.

How do you know that someone has Hepititis C? Do you have proof? The health department is already aware of all people with those kind of illnesses. So there isn't reallly anything you can or should do...its not effecting your life

Unless you are friends with your neighbors and are really concerned about their health, you should just mind your own business. It's really none of your business what they do behind closed doors.

Mind your own business...unless you are a friend then you could mention that one of the participants has hep C. They may already know. And as for the children, so long as its not done in front of them then mind your own business too.

If you know that one person is putting the rest of the group at risk then yes, you should do something about it.

First of all, I would approach the person with the infection and suggest that they come clean. If they don't or refuse to, then you will have to tell the rest of the group yourself. I know it could be VERY awkward - but seriously, a moment's embarrassment for a lifetime of suffering? It's a no-brainer!

Stay out of it. If you're aware of the Hep C, it's quite likely they are too, and are taking appropriate precautions.

If you know that the children are in danger, tell the authorities before one of the kids gets sick or dies. Leaving people alone goes out the door when innocent children are at risk.
