Up by about 15% against this time last year. New developments are getting pricier, as builders capitalise on growing interest from investors. There is a disused military airfield south of Plovdiv, which is to open for year round for general use in about 18 months, so prices will continue to rise with the additional convenience this will permit.
Really the rural properties are the last untapped area for potentially high investment growth in Bulgaria. The Black Sea coast and Bansko are reaching saturation, whereas the extremely affordable village properties, often with thousands of square metres of ground, are a largely overlooked aspect of Bulgaria.
Have a look at bulgarianproperties.com. They are one of several regulated property companies based in Bulgaria, and though I have found them to be on the pricey side for refurbishment work, they are reliable to deal with. You can see Bansko properties on this site also, but the Bulgarian Embassy website (in London at least) offer many leads to companies selling Bulgarian property.
