I don't think we should unless the law that protects a female's body will also protects a males body. I think it should be both or neither.

Any permanent change to babies genitals (male or female) should be illegal.
I mean just look at the stupid answers above(vtjames7433,crazylegs) they actually believe that nothing is done to an infant when he gets circumcised and they think that it should be legal.
That's exactly what people in Africa think too, they think that female genital mutilation is not that bad, it reduces health risks and they believe it looks better that's exactly the attitude of Americans on male mutilation.
For example Muslims approve removing a part of the clitoris, does that make it right?

here is a chart that shows how views on male circumcision are equal to those in Africa on female circumcision

Johnny it is very harmful to circumcise a female and although still practiced in certain cultures it is none the less an illegal activity in North America. Also because of the lack of cleanliness and regular folks, not professional doctor's completing this procedure is another reason for it being against the law. With males it is the choice of the parents, and/or males themselves when adults whether or not they are circumcised.

Male circumcision doesn't prevent him from enjoying sex, although I do not think it should be done unless medically warranted. Guys should have the choice to lose their foreskin or not...

They aren't the same procedure though, and they don't have the same results. You are comparing apples and oranges.
