This is the part that women complain about, the last few weeks. I was absolutely miserable with my son for the last two weeks. I feel down at 38 1/2 weeks, he was fine but I could not think about rolling over in bed without pain in my pubic bone. Just when it started to feel better I fell again on my due date. He still didn't come for another 4 days!
The best thing about it is that I have already forgotten about it (my son is 4.5 months old). A few weeks after he was born I decided I would definitely have a 3rd if my hubby is interested. I think nature intended it that way, otherwise no one would have more than one kid!

I'm going to agree with everyone else and say that it sounds normal but just to be safe I would make sure you don't have a UTI. I doubt you do but it's best to err on the side of caution when you are so close to having this baby. Good luck hun and everything will get better really soon when you have the little one. Congrats!

Sounds like your baby is settling down more into your pelvis. Giving you increased pain and discomfort..and the need to pee more often is probably from the baby's head putting more pressure onto your bladder. I'm 39 weeks and it constantly feels like she is punching me in the bladder... Only a few more weeks!! Good Luck!

That's all normal!
When you baby turns head down to prepare for birth his / her head drops down into your pelvic area, pushing your hip bones apart. This causes the pain. The head also pushes on your bladder, causing the need to urinate often.
Good luck and CONGRATS!

Join the club. I remember being half awake and having to go so badly that I dreamed I did. Oops. :)
And yes, your bladder actually hurts becuase it's too full.
All kinds of aches and pains. I tried telling my Dr, he just laughed at me. I hope yours is better.

I totally relate. 38 weeks and I feel as if the baby is scraping his finger nails into my cervics as I type this. honestly :) Ouch. I was up every 45 minutes last night to pee and to get back to comfort. It also feels as if my hips are breaking and my back is cramped. We are just getting reasy to deliver...SOON. Good luck girly its normal.

sound like your baby is dropping lower in the pelvis this cause your pelvis to widden and which causes the pain. As the baby drops it presses against the bladder and which makes you have to go more.
