yep, we should just cut the military from 4.9% GDP to 2.4% GDP just like Clinton did and we would have surpluses again. such a great idea.
by the way you do realize the economy took a 1 trillion dollar hit on 9/11 partly due to the cut mentioned above. but I guess since that was on chimpy mchalibushitlers watch it was his fault too right. it would be funny if some peoples ignorance didnt effect my life when you vote for the people that do nothing but hurt this economy.

By the way, Republicans held the purse strings from 2001-2006. Despite claims of record tax revenues, they're uncontrolled spending created record deficits. Where was there fiscal responsibility that they hold in such high esteem?

Well, let's see...if it wasn't for Clinton, the recession of 2000-2001 may never have happened, we may have had Osama in custody, so 9/11 may never have happened...hmmm, I think it's possible that the debt would be even less if Clinton hadn't been in power.

Not to mention we now look at cigars in a whole new way, cheating on your wife is no longer as taboo as it once was, treating women as sex objects is now okay (personally, that one is much more important than the whole deficit thingy), pardoning criminals as you leave office is okay, yes, Bill certainly put a whole new face on those things and many more. I, for one, am extremely grateful. NOT.
