Would you ever date a person that was a fan of your rival? I see these couples at the baseball games in their opposite jerseys and I know several couples that are Cubs/Cardinals (mostly because that's the area I live in). Would you do it?

You know I used to think no big deal, right? Healthy arguing, make-up sex. Yea great effin idea Tommy you effin moron. Well seeing how one of our make up episodes Tommy had lots and lots of Old Style which obviously helps make my boys swim and now we're gonna have a little one. You would figure the biggest argument would be religion right cuz I'm Catholic and she's not (so her religion doesn't really matter ;P no the big thing is whether we're gonna raise a Cub or Sox fan. I told her no child of mine is going to be a Sox fan. I can't have any of my kids running around barefoot, toothless, playing the banjo with their toes, and wanting to go to a Sox game to show off their mullet on dollar dog night. So if I could do it all over again I'd date a Cub fan.

I Would. I Had Season Tickets For The NY Jets For 13 Years, This Couple Behind Us(I Was In The Front Row)At The Meadowlands, The Lady Was A Huge Jet Fan And The Guy A Dolphin Fan. They Were A Great Couple Nice Folks, It Was Memorable Because The Guy Would Wear His Dolphin Stuff The One Time A Year They Were In Town, But Whoever Else The Jets Played Hed Have Either A Shirt Or Hat Or A Pennant Something Just To Bust Her Chops. They Were A Riot. So Yes I Would.

Date? Yes, it is possible. A more permanent relationship would be impossible if it were teams whose fans are passionate like Cubs-Cardinals or Yankees-Red Sox. But Devil Rays and Orioles. Baseball might never come up in conversation.

Yes I would. It foster a deeper understanding of your rival team that only a fan could bring you. If they were open to the idea of listening about your team then it would be a great relationship builder. It shows a common interest between the two that they are willing to listen and understand a quirk about the other.

as a cubs fan i would date a sox or cardinals fan, but i wouldn't bring them to the game, it breaks every man code.

I can deal with someone who is a passionate fan for a rival team to mine, I couldn't have dated someone who was a "fan" but had no real knowledge about the team they were a fan of, if they can support their team then I can deal with it but not if it is because "they rule"!!!

I had a kid by a Reds fan, so I guess that means I can get past it. Thank God she wasn't a Cubs fan! LOL

I was born and raised in beautiful San Diego Ca and that makes me a proud padre and charger fan. Oh and yes i will date a girl whos a rival to my team.
