I am trying to hire a car and as pick up and drop off I see that there is Dublin Airport and Dublin international Airport.
Are they two different airports or ?? I will be flying with ryanair from malta.

This is a list of all of the International airports in Eire and it looks like there is only one for Dublin http://www.azworldairports.com/cfm/frame.cfm?src=http://www.azworldairports.com/airports/p1790dub.htm
If there is another airport it maybe one that only deals with internal flights or it maybe a part of the Dublin airport itself designated for freight or private and internal flights.
