My doctor put me on birth control pills, because of hormonal
imbalance. I am supposed to take a pill every morning for 21 days, then stop for 7 days, then start again. The first month was fine, and I got my periods on the third day of my seven days pills free period.
But this month nothing happens! It's the fifth day today, I am to
start taking pills in two days and there is no sign of any periods.
What does it mean? Is it bad?

A lot of times you miss a period in the first few months you are on the pill as your body adjusts to the hormones. When I started taking them, my doctor told me to give the pill at least 3 months to get my period straightened out (but it could take up to 6 with some people). She said missing a period was normal in the first few months, but missing 2 in a row could be problematic. So wait and see what happens next month, if you miss your period again, talk to your doctor immediately. There is also a condition called Amenorrhea - which is the absence of a period, it can be caused by some birth control pills (I had it once on a pill I was taking, came back when I switched pills) - but it's something to talk about with your doctor if you continue missing periods.

You can skip a period for many reasons.

Stress, health, etc.

Don't sweat it.

If you've had sex I would take a pregnancy test.

Or talk to a doctor.
