i have my period the full 7 days and it comes after a full month. it's a pretty regular period.

12-14 BEFORE your next period is when the ovum is released from the ovary and starts its journey toward the uterus. It is during this journey that the ovum can be fertilized then continue on it's journey to the uterus and implant itself there. If unfertilized it doesn't attach to the uterus and is washed away with you period.

You are most likely to get pregnant during ovulation, which is usually around 14 days before your period. It is possible to get pregnant at any point in your cycle, though. If you don't want to get pregnant, you need to use protection every time.

You could get pregnant at ANY time of the month.

But you are most likely to get pregnant when you ovulate.
