A person will start criticizing his own religion when zealots try to killl him for not following its rules perfectly.

To actually hold a religion responsible for killing anyone, it would have to be an organized religion, and actively encourage, endorse, or directly carry out the killing. Furthermore, said killing would have to have happened within living memory. I would not expect the adherents of a modern religion to be held accountable for the actions of thier predecessors.

It appears to me that those who murder and claim it's because of a religion are not really members of that religion at all.
So-called Muslims blow themselves up killing innocent civillians yet in the Koran, Mohammed specifically forbade the targetting of civillians, and the destruction of farmland (moder scholars say this also applied to civillian towns). Suicide is also forbidden.
So-called Christians murder doctors working in family planning clinics and have been known to blow them up, despite it clearly saying in the 10 commandments "thou shalt not commit murder".
In both these examples, true Muslims and true Christians have stood up to condemn those who committed these heinous acts, demonstrating that those of true faith do not commit these crimes. After 9/11, some of the earliest condemnations came from Muslims.
Those who commit murder or terrorist atrocities and use the excuse of a particular religion are not of that religion at all.

I am a Christian, one of Jehovah's Witnesses. No true followers of a Religion, unless the religion itself actually mandates it, kill as part of said religion.
Most religions teach killing is wrong.

True religions do not kill. Misguided people sometimes kill in the name of religion.
