I would LIKE to say I'd do something practical with it, such as buy a house and use it to knock out some of the payment and then invest the rest...
...but I'd probably be more likely to use it to go live in Italy for as long as the money lasted.

I'd do what I always do with that sum of money, I'd invest it. Then you can make it go farther than a vacation OR a car.
