I've been in usa,i really admire americans but i don't like how subject they are to their Media, they take what is said to them by Media as grant,in this regard i consider them juvenile . the second thing i find it strange is their over-estimation to the star -type people(actors, rich ...).you wanted us to be honest,no grudge.

To the first answer, you darling are in the wrong to base a whole country because that guy gave you a dumb answer!
Unless you live in America you know NOTHING about it. If you or any one is going based on what you hear or see in the media then I feel sorry for you.
I am lucky to be born in this country and to call my self a citizen. As far as I am concerned there is no other country I would want to live in! I can give my thoughts on this country because I grew up here, I live here. You dont live here and are on the outside looking in. You have no clue how this country is or its people. Sure Bush has given us a bad wrap! Truly most of the American people want him out of office, because people like you do not know how we really are. Other countries have given us the third degree. No matter what! I stand by my country even when there is an ape running it!

I'm canadian and don't have much appreciation with the way your country is run.
But I do like to shop in NY, I like that americans say whats on their minds and I love Michael Jackson.
I actually learned to speak english so I would understand his songs. I love Americans!

I was born & grew up outside USA 'til 25 but lived in USA for 10 years but I'm back to my country now. My opinions on America the Country & Americans the people are different:
-- I like the Country because of it vast kinds of Terrains & climate of different States, from Dessert to Snowy mountains, rainy Seattle & Sunny LA, wow ,I think thats Amazing work of God!
--Some of the Gov't laws are good but some are really bad! example is the welfare system, some people needs it but some don't deserve it because some people rely on them so much that make it as their source of income & makes them lazy & not work for themselves.Have babies &rely on the gov't to feed them. Don't create babies if you can't afford them!
--Americans the People : Most Americans have the Superiority Complex, They discriminate people who don't speak the same English Language as they do,They think they know everything that they close their eyes on Prejudism, Not open to other ideas from other culture or Countries. In just a matter of time sooner or later another country could be the richest country in this world if they don't wake up to their senses; ex: China
--Although I also have few good impressions on some people I met when I use to lived in USA, their open-mindedness, Flexibility, breaking some rules for good reasons, I called it right sensibility, its makes sense sometimes when you're not too uptight on your decisions & reactions.
Thanks for the opportunity to express my opinion!

Man why so many god dam americans answering this question? As a non- american., -cough*-, i find ur country ,george bush's greed for oil absolutely ridiculous and despicable. Ur country creates wars, and calls anybody they dont like "terrorists" and supports israel which is a terrorist/illegal state. Other than that i have nothing more to say about "your country"
Oh yeah and we are far better than other country in terms of many things too like attitude and other stuff but i think most of us are pretty good but well there are a couple of bad dudes everywhere but i think we are the best country in the world for some reasons and other countrys cant beat us in manythings,
eg music, military, ladies, movies and they are arrogant in many ways, especially asians, yet they illegally come and stay over here and creates problems for us.
Oh and athena what other languages are there besides english in canada?

"would desire to"? of direction. Morally definite, by way of fact the president individuals choose could have an impression on electorate of each united states (yet much less now than in any previous election of modern background, as united statesa.'s potential in the international declines). And almost too, by way of fact united statesa. - although plenty it professes to well worth its own independence - can not function with out allies. the wear and tear finished to American-ecu family in the final 8 years has broken the skill of the U. S. to get its far greater than worldwide agreements on economics, climate exchange, and human rights. It has additionally decreased the impression of the U. S. in worldwide affairs. An Obama presidency could flow some thank you to restoring united statesa.'s place in the eyes of the eyes of the international, and according to threat slowing its decline relative to the emergent powers. yet "will" the critiques of non-individuals impression American electorate? I doubt it. maximum will vote for inner maximum reasons, or relating to subject concerns affecting their families and communities. that is how maximum persons vote the international over. we are able to in uncomplicated terms wish that the representatives they decide for will desire to seem on the international photograph.

As an American I freely admit this country has many bad qualities.
However I am firmly convinced that the good in fact far outweighs the bad.
Otherwise why do so many people flock to our borders?
No country in world has as many foreigners scrambling to get inside its boarders compared to the USA. NOT ONE!!
I love the USA. GO USA! Thank God Almighty for the USA!!!

Not very good. We have free media and see what America is really like. I have been there and met some stupid people.
1 guy asked me what language we spoke in England, I sarcastically replied "French" and the fool and his friends believed me. When I corrected them and told them that we speak English in England, they said "wow you speak our language". That guy was actually in the army, and will be fighting in Iraq about now.
That was when I realised that you guys know nothing.
