I've never been to the keys before so I looked on Tripadvisor.com to find a nice place. I looked at some resorts and reviews for Islamorada. I'm not so sure I liked what I saw.

The hotels looked like it was 1955. Are they still that way?

Many people said there's not much beach in the Keys - is that true?

Where is a good resort (all inclusive if possible) in the Keys?

Which is the best Key to go to for some real R&R (not lokking for family vacations, BTW)?

Can you help me find a great place to go?

Hi, Jim C. Your right, the Keys don't have many sandy beaches.

Have you heard of Cheeca Lodge? It's a AAA Four-Diamond, oceanfront resort in the Florida Keys situated on 27 landscaped acres. With a West Indies style décor, the resort features more than 1,200 feet of private beach.

The Keys are known to have many divey motels built in the '50s...Cheeca Lodge is the exception to the rule! Many people say it's one of the best places to stay in the entire State of Florida.

The Resort is located in Islamorada at Mile Marker 82. Their website address is http://www.cheeca.com/

No, there isn't much beach, but who cares? That's not what we go to the Keys for. It's a world of its own and you have to appreciate it for its uniqueness. In my opinion, Key West is the place to go. If you go to Islamorada, you will inevitably end up driving to Key West for at least a day. You can't go to the Keys without seeing Key West. So, just head all the way down and stay there. Look for something on Duval Street because that is where everything is centered around. The Pier House is great. So are Crowne Plaza LaConcha and Hyatt Key West Resort and Marina . If you want to stay out of the way, stay at Casa Marina. They have a shuttle daily to Duval Street anyway. It's historical and although it isn't all inclusive, it has everything you need. Don't forget - wherever you stay rent a couple of bikes and explore the island.

Forget the Keys, its like a strip of land thats 4 miles wide (the biggest one) and its so boring you can do everything there in a day!

Try central Florida with the themeparks!
