It was back in my days when I drove a taxi for a living. I once drove for the Dali Lama. He didn't give me a tip, but he told me that when I die, I will receive Total Enlightenment. Which is nice. So I've got that going for me.

when i was a kid my dad and I saw a rainbow surrounded by beautiful clouds. I said it looked nice and my dad said "God is an artist." ever since then i've seen things a little differently and i've been able to put things into perspective a little easier.

also a simple "i promise everything will be okay" and/or "this is just a blip, bad things happen and then things get better, that's how life is" helps me feel better.
