Been using it for over a year and love it. Never had anything get through, and the initial scan found Trojans and other nasties that the big boys (Norton & McAfee) could not. It also seems to use much less system resources.

Been using it for years, on several laptops here.
Never had a virus/trojan/malware.
Seen plenty try to get in though... always fails!
Avast has a hissyfit when something bad tries to get in.

i do use avast professiona, so far it works good been on my 2 pc's for about 1 year.
avast is like big guarding rotweller, LOL. it barks when some malware or virus try to sneak into my pc's LOL
