Boxer's and Pelosi's home state, which always votes for Dems to be president, have done a great job of destroying the environment.

Mother nature isn't allowed to have natural forest fires every decade or so. Rich libs have $1 million to $5 million homes but Mother Nature suffers.

Odd?

what the ill informed insane cons seem to forget is that san diego (the worst impacted area of the fires) is very republican friendly.

or at least they were before the lunatic fringe of the radical republican party decided that everyone in cali was a 'lib' and that their tragedy was a good way for them to make their petty pathetic political points.

the real question of the day is:
what won't the cons stoop to?

That area of the country is prone to fires - huge fires have occured there through out history according to Native Americans - who BTW have lived there long before it was there was a USA.

The problem is that the area was over developed with housing and now those folks are paying the consequences.

This is no different (or smarter) than building a beach front house on Cape Hateras - sooner or later nature will take it back.

BTW - The Sierra Club and many other so-called "LIB" organizations have been warning that this was bound to happen for more than a decade.

You may want to consider getting your facts straight before you start shooting from the hip - although that IS the Republican't way.......

No it's not odd.

For the many uneductaed people on Yahoo Answers the enviromentalists and their allies in congress (Pelosi, et al) refused to let people do controlled burns because they wanted to protect the habitats of some endangered species. So all of the dead brush and whatnot built up over time until an external cause, in this case arson, ignited it all causing millions of dollars in damages. All of which could have been stemmed or completly avoided with small control burns.

BTW those endangered species, they're dead now. Thanks environmentalists.

The cons keep saying that there are no rich libs because anyone with money would be a conservative. Odd.

Jungle,
If you knew ANYTHING, you would know that San Diego is a Conservative city. Not all of California is liberal. I love it when people talk A LOT about NOTHING! Pelosi was the congresswoman of San Francisco, not all of California.
